Responsible for assisting in the classrooms with the overall functions in a providing a warm, safe and nurturing learning experience while communicating the goals, guidelines, and standards of the center.

Qualifications:
Education: High School or GED, required.
Credentials EDU119 or equivalency as defined by DHHS Education Workforce, preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: NC CDL License, preferred.
CPR/First Aid (American Red Cross/American Heart) within 2 months of hire, required.
ITS SIDS within 2 months of hire for those working with children up to 2 years of age, required.
BSAC (Basic School Age) for those working with school age children, required.
DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background letter, required.
Additional Skills Required:
DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background letter and Workforce Letter within 45 days of hire.
BSAC required for those working with school age children and CDL if driving the bus if applicable.
Maintain training hours requirements as outlined for substitutes by regulatory compliance.
Additional Skills Preferred: The ability to work a variety of work schedules and to work effectively in all classrooms within the centers.
