Literacy Kids Zone Representative

The YMCA Literacy Initiative is seeking a Kids Zone Representative to work with preschool and elementary school children while parents attend English classes.
The Kids Zone Representative will report to Literacy Program Director and he/she will help organize and lead small group activities (including arts and crafts, literacy games, physical activities), prepare and serve snacks, support social and academic readiness for school, and communicate with parents.
The schedule is Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:15 am to 12:00 pm.
Experience working in childcare Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills Experience in diverse, multi-cultural environments preferred Must be responsible and reliable
