Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum plans.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and providing feedback to parents.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques for subjects such as physical education and math is a plus.
