Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services is the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the behavioral healthcare needs of our community.
Our 164-bed inpatient services for adults and adolescents offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning.
We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients.

We are currently seeking a Cook to join our talented and caring team.
Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a diverse environment with focus on patient and customer service, building and maintaining positive working relationships with all hospital staff and demonstrating professional, effective communication skills.
The preferred candidate will have a proven background of success in the healthcare industry in both service and kitchen environments.
The Cook is responsible for: * Preparing and serving regular and special diets to patients and employees.
* Following recipes in preparation of menu items.
* Following production sheets for preparation of current and future meals.
* Prepares meals in accordance with service schedule.
* Ensures food presentation is pleasant and food temperatures are appropriate on the serving line and in food storage areas.
* Utilizes proper sanitation methods in preparation and serving of food.
* Washing dishes, trays and other cooking utensils.
Performing general cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning of drink machines, cooking equipment, etc.
) to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen and food service area as well as to remain in compliance with Health Department regulations.
* Role is physically demanding and position requires assisting with the unloading of food delivery and storage in proper location.
* Individuals considered for this position must have a friendly and outgoing attitude, must be service-oriented and willing to go beyond the general expectations to please the customer and have a positive team approach to accomplishing tasks.
Job Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred * Previous experience as Cook in Healthcare setting * ServSafe Certification required * Background Check and Drug Screen required for employment * *Must have active NC Driver's License free of major infractions - DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACTIVE NORTH CAROLINA DRIVER'S LICENSE* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
