Account Receivable Manager

*Lutheran Services Carolinas is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Manager* Accounts Receivable Manager (AR Manager) is responsible for accurate social services billing and timely accounts receivable collections.
* Act as liaison and resource to facility staff for billing/collection process and administration; provide support as needed to new facility staff and/or existing staff on reimbursement processes and regulations.
* Maintain working knowledge of billing/receivable software system.
* Stay abreast of Federal and State reimbursement regulations and proposed regulations.
* Analyze potential changes in reimbursement regulations and effectively communicate the analysis to management and facility staff.
* Maintain policies and procedures regarding billing and accounts receivable.
* Coordinate the submission of billing to payer agencies via established protocols and within required timeframes.
* Research and determine resolution of variances and communicate as necessary to close out the process.
* Manage monthly reporting of billing/collections status for management.
* Responsible for input of journal entries in accounting system.
* Conduct monthly accounting closing process within required agency deadlines.
*Qualifications (Minimum Job Requirements):*College degree and minimum 4 years' experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
General math skills.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.
00 - $78,000.
