Compensation: Salary: $47,000/ year
Bonus Plan: Up to $5,000/Quarter ($20,000/yr)
Bonus plan will change in future to be a profit share bonus and will include: food cost, profitability and maintenance issues.
Bonus Plan will start at the beginning of the 4th quarter (October 1st)
PTO: 4 days after 6 months, 7 days after 1 year, 14 days after 2 years.
No rollover days, Will reset each year.
Meals: 50% off 1 meal per day.
20% off family meals up to $20 off.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including food preparation, inventory control, cash handling, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Hire/Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs
- Monitor food production to maintain quality standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Manage catering events and coordinate with catering manager as necessary
- Utilize POS system to process orders and payments accurately
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or customer service environment
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and food production
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Knowledge of catering operations is a plus
45-50+ hours per week
