We are seeking a Catering Operations Supervisor to help oversee the premium food service operations at Wake Forest University located in Winston Salem, NC.
This position will be responsible for supervising day-to-day planning and event day execution of the premium hospitality areas.
The ideal candidate has experience in large-scale food service operations and is a hands-on leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with account executives, culinary, and management teams to fully understand event details including game-day menus, event set up, equipment needs, and event execution timeline.
Prepare organizational documents – distribution sheets for specialty equipment, linen, buffet equipment, dry product, beverage, menu signage, etc.
Assist with inventory and organization of storage areas and oversee checking in and putting away food orders.
Stocking premium areas throughout the event venues with equipment and food & beverage products according to pull-sheets or direction from the Premium General Manager.
Support premium suites staff – suite captains, servers, bartenders, pantry attendants, and more.
Assist distributing food, running product, handling last minute additional, and any operational tasks prior to and on event days.
Assist with post event clean up, organization, re-stocks, and inventory to ensure total preparation for the next event.
Attendance at all games & events as scheduled.
Performs other related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications: 2+ years of high volume hospitality and/or Stadium Food & Beverage experience needed Must be a team player, well organized, and have strong computer/Microsoft Office skills Excellent listening and communication skills Renowned time management skills Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs Knowledge of Catering Operations The ability to work alone and as a team CORE VALUE AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Business Acumen - Demonstrate comprehension of the job, including policies, practices, and relationships.

Work Environment This position will work out of athletic venues within Wake Forest University.
The work environment for this position ranges daily, but will often consist of traveling throughout indoor venues, outdoor locations, and temporary structures as business demands.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.
Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx.
40 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits This is considered a full-time hourly role with a starting range of $22-$28/hour depending on experience.
