An Excellent Opportunity Mountain Valley is currently seeking a Vice President of Compliance and Education.
The person in this position is responsible for planning, overseeing, coordinating and implementing the agency’s compliance program.
You will also be responsible for the education department which has responsibility for Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI), new hire orientation, competencies, and annual employee educational requirements.
Duties: Serves as the QAPI program leader.
Performs regular analysis of facility quality and risk performance data, and plans steps based on data analysis for ongoing improvement.
Collaborate with leadership, to complete periodic QAPI assessment to identify ongoing learning needs of staff and assist in developing and conducting educational programs to meet the identified needs.
Identifies educational opportunities related to service, quality patient care, occurrences, compliance, and regulatory changes.
Oversee planning, coordinating and conducting required in service programs and/or special training sessions in compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and/or corporate requirements.
Attend and participate in leadership meetings and be a member of designated work groups.
Qualifications: BSN required, MSN preferred.
CHPN preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including Hospice/Home Care experience 2 years’ experience in education, quality management, risk management, infection control, and regulatory compliance preferred.
Strong organizational and system skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as necessary.
Ability to analyze data and strategize on clinically focused solutions to implement proper action.
Possess the ability to manage people and exhibits strong conflict resolution skills.
Be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
