Summary:
Reporting to the Sr.
Project Engineer, the Management Associate will enter an 18 to 24 month formal training program to learn the functions and processes of Martin Marietta’s Salisbury Shop while also gaining experience within the Aggregates business and gaining leadership skills.
As the only crusher repair facility for the Martin Marietta Corporation, Salisbury Shop offers a variety of experiences that will include, design, detailing, fabrication, & project management.
Other learned experiences include CNC machining processes, CNC cutting processes, Welding, and machine assembly/disassembly methods.
Management Associate Responsibilities:
Must be safety conscious, dependable and motivated.
Will take an active role in the company's safety initiatives.
Must be self-motivated, strong work ethic individual that is willing to work with minimal supervision
Using Solidworks, Autodesk Advance Steel, and AutoCAD, will assist other with design and detailing requirements as needed.
Qualifications and skills:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management and a valid driver’s license.
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Solidworks or Autodesk Advance Steel Experience Required
Ability to work in an office or shop environment where sitting, standing, kneeling, or bending for long periods of time may be required.
Ability to wear PPE while on the shop floor (Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, Hardhats, Earplugs, High-Viz Vest or Shirts, other as required)
