Lion's Share Federal Credit Union is seeking seasoned professionals for the position of President & CEO.
Formed in 1982 as the Food Lion Credit Association CU, and renamed Lion's Share Federal Credit Union in 2007, Lion's Share is committed to serving the hard working employees and retires of Delhaize America, along with their family members.
Reporting to the Board, the President & CEO will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all credit union activities.
Responsibilities will include:
Strategic direction, leadership and management in all functional areas
Ensure financial stability and member satisfaction
Manage all day to day operations and procedures to achieve the goals of the credit union
Maintain and ensure regulatory compliance
Establish and maintain effective financial policies, and responsibly managing the credit union budget, investments and assets.
Promote the growth and development of the credit union, by conducting appropriate business development activities and building positive relationships with managers.
The successful candidate should posses the following knowledge and skills:
Minimum of 15 years in financial institution, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
Credit union experience is strongly preferred, with advanced understanding of credit union operations
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field - Master's Degree preferred
CCUE and CUDE designations preferred
Other requirements include the ability to create and maintain a culture that is attractive to highly effective employees.
The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
