We are currently hiring a key Product Line Manager in our coirporate, New Jersey headquarters! This is a promotional, technical and relationship management marketing position.
This person must learn and apply product applications knowledge to create product selling and positioning strategies for the USTC Corp sales team.
The role is measured mostly by achievement of sales, profit, and margin goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meet revenue, gross profit, margin, and rebate goals for assigned products.
Develop and implement corporate sales and marketing strategies to support revenue, gross profit, margin, rebates, and market development funds achievement.
Maximize sales results by managing the entire supply relationship with assigned OEMs for the benefit of USTC Corp and those OEMs.
Facilitate and guide the management engagement between the companies.
Manage an effective pricing strategy based upon detailed market price assessments and strategic quoting to maximize USTC Corp margin.
Manage all deal registrations and provide margin recommendations to sales to help maintain USTC Corp's minimum corporate margin goals for products and related services.
Work with the USTC Corp sales team to develop strategies to increase the current win rate for assigned OEM quotes.
Support high attach rates of other complementary products.
Assist the sales team with existing and net new business.
Engage with all USTC Corp sales members, as well as regional SP managers and channel managers.
Ensure USTC Corp sales team members are engaged with their counterparts and are developing joint account strategies.
Understand each territory manager?s account strategies and find ways to maximize OEM sales within those plans.
Facilitate OEM product training to the sales teams within the scope of USTC Corp overall sales team training.
Stay adequately trained on the products to conduct some of the training personally.
Present materials and strategies to sales teams via formal presentations and providing day to day sales tools.
Proactively assist in building the OEM sales funnel including prospecting for new customer lists, contacts and opportunities within existing Walker/OEM accounts and new USTC Corp accounts.
Continuously follow up on sales leads and keep a running pipeline or funnel of all OEM opportunities/activities.
Utilize the Customer Activity Tool, monthly flash reports, and direct feedback from the sales team.
Supply pipeline data and deal closing recommendations to sales and marketing management monthly.
Create sales enablement material, matching products with applications that Sales can readily sell into.
Provide client presentations, educational materials, sales tools, or other information that may be required by Sales to effectively sell OEM.
Work with USTC Corp engineering to position USTC Corp products into integrated solutions.
Provide monthly forecasts of OEM results.
Assist materials management with inventory management maximizing turns and health.
Provide Sales programs to Sales that enable us to keep our inventory moving and healthy.
Travel as necessary to interface with suppliers and customers, as well as participate in trade shows.
