Job Summary:
The Consultant II Information Technology Risk Management (ITRM) is responsible for supporting the execution of activities that help identify, analyze, manage, challenge, aggregate, and report on risk.
Monitoring security alerts and performing initial incident analysis, documentation, and triage
Investigate security events using Security Information and Event Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, and other security tools
Collaborate with employees from other teams in order to mitigate identified vulnerabilities
Identify and escalate security incidents based on impact and criticality
Identify and recommended changes to the security incident detection capabilities in order to reduce false positives and improve security incident detection.
Support efforts to analyze technology and business impact and exposure based on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and risks
Create and maintain security and risk management procedures and other documentation
Support the planning, design and implementation of risk management processes for the organization
Serve as an escalation point for level I consultants providing guidance and mentoring in the handling of security incidents
Support risk reporting to senior leadership within Enterprise Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience
4 or more years of related experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
None required
Functional Skills
Has extensive knowledge of security concepts, including security standards and procedures
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to perform research and analysis and document and report findings
Oral and written communication skills in order to partner with employees both internal and external to achieve risk & control management objectives
The ability to work as part of a team and as well as independently
Effective time management and organization skills with a proven ability to multi-task

The base range offered for the role is: $57,500 - $82,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors.
