Piedmont Advantage Credit Union celebrates its 75th Anniversary in 2024 and is seeking highly motivated individuals with a servant’s heart for the position of Chief Financial Officer.
In this executive role, reporting directly to the President/CEO, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership by analyzing, planning, and directing Credit Union financial strategies to ensure growth, safety, soundness, and achievement of strategic goals.
Working collaboratively with the CEO and the executive team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic plans and strong financial performance.
The following Essential Functions are representative of the expected responsibilities of this role, but are not all inclusive:
Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and ensure safety and soundness of the credit union.
Ensure full transparency over financial performance.
Plan, develop, and implement investment and liquidity strategies.
Develop and manage comprehensive financial reports, such as call reports, financial reports, financial trends, budgets, and forecasts.
Facilitate communication and maintain professional and positive relationships with CEO, Board, Examiners, Membership, and Community.
Plan and implement ALM and lead the Asset Liability Committee.
Spearhead extensive financial planning to include budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, new products and programs, pricing, and liquidity.
Create, oversee and maintain excellent internal controls and quality control processes within the organization.
Knowledge and Skills required to perform effectively in this position include:
Experience – 8-10 years of similar, related experience
Education – College degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, and professional certificate or a graduate degree.
CPA or MBA preferred.
Interpersonal Skills – Conflict resolution, presentations, resolution of issues impacting multiple departments or divisions.
Requires the ability to motivate or influence others with a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
