who can take complicated concepts and distill them into functional and elegant technical tools
for data professionals.
You will be contributing directly to the delivery of Fluree products by
working hand-in-hand with design, engineering, and business leadership - together we'll be
designing the future of data sharing.
Responsibilities:
Work with customers to deploy enterprise application software onto their cloud
environments
Assist customers in deploying software across environments, from development to
production (and all environments in between), in-line with customer Agile CI/CD and
release management processes
Work with Release Manager to keep track of which versions of the software have been
installed on the customer environments, capture customer feedback, and issues, and
deploy patches and hotfixes to customer installed software
Skills/Experience:
5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related position working with multiple Cloud
services
Experience deploying complex business applications on the cloud, from independent
components for presentation, application and data layers to single images running on
Docker or Kubernetes
Experience in budget forecasting, monitoring costs and margin optimization
Understand how applications can be deployed and saved within VMs, application-
hosting services, managed or unmanaged database servers, etc.
A good understanding of the following is necessary -
o Cloud data lake and warehouse platforms, including AWS Elastic Map Reduce,
Google Cloud Dataproc, Azure HD Insight, Databricks, Snowflake
o Zero-trust security architectures, especially as deployed on the Cloud
o Zero-trust principles, architecture patterns and how to deliver services on micro-
segmented networks
o Cloud key and vault management services, so that application can be securely
deployed within Customer's preferred security architecture
o Create and manage Runbooks, so that the deployment process can be applied
continuously and repeatedly across customer environments
Must have extensive experience with common release management and CI/CD tools,
including Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, AWS ECS, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, XL
Deploy, JFrog, JIRA Agile, or other similar app build and deployment tools
Proven experience on AI/ML would be a plus (AWS Sagemaker or equivalent)
