Position summary: At TCH, our HR Department leads the delivery of all HR services to internal client groups to drive outstanding performance.
The HR Department partners closely with business leaders to drive the TCH Talent Agenda, consult on critical talent decisions and achieve operational excellence for the business.
We serve as trusted advisors on all HR issues and as partners to the business in Recruitment, Retention, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, and Performance Management.
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for supporting the people functions of the corporation in accordance with the policies and practices of the Corporation, the ethical and social consciences of business and society and the laws, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations.
Qualifications required:
BA/BS degree; certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise preferred.
7 + years of Human Resources experience with 3+ years of management experience, preferably in the financial services, asset management, fintech or investment banking industry.
Demonstrated expertise and experience serving in a consultative capacity to senior business leaders, shaping organizational strategy, goals and alignment.
Experience working across the various HR disciplines including talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, benefits, compliance and performance management.
Ability to execute organizational people strategy initiatives with excellence in a fast paced, corporate environment with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability analyzing and presenting findings and reports back to the business as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data.
Proficiency with windows applications required.
Proficiency with HR Information Systems; ADP Workforce Now a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Develop and implement people policies and procedures in alignment with organization’s priorities and values.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Stay informed about industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance.
Partner with leadership on all key talent decisions, providing HR advice and expertise; leveraging subject matter experts from across the HR function as needed.
Oversee the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing and attracting candidates to onboarding.
Support leadership with organizational change and development as necessary, addressing complex organizational design issues where required.
Create and provide reporting, data management/tracking of key HR metrics.
Analyze and present relevant reports back to the business.
Develop HR presentations on key HR data or HR-related materials.
Support Management in the annual talent practices, including performance management, talent review, succession planning and promotion.
Facilitate talent review and succession planning discussions; work with Management to implement performance plans.
Handle employee relations matters ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
Manage employee relations addressing concerns and fostering positive workplace culture.
Oversee employee benefits programs, including but not limited to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life AD&D, Disability, Employee Leaves of Absence, COBRA, Pension Plans, etc.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize benefit offerings.

Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Occasional travel may be required.
